I’m coming home

By Ashley Lopez

What’s up everyone 🙂

You girls and guys… I am moving back to my hometown end of month and I am kind of
Freaking
Out
But, I’m soooo excited! I apologize in advance if I sound super jumpy in this post, but that’s because I currently am right now – in this moment – literally just wanted to share this with you all real quick.

I haven’t lived in my hometown, birthplace, neck of the woods, city of birth, home (okay, I know I’m being soo extra) permanently since I graduated high school in, drum roll please, 2012!! Crap, now you know how old I am.

Okay, I’m 26 and fly (just kidding).

Okay, okay, okay, my boyfriend and I are moving 350+ miles down to Southern California baby. It’s going to be a big change for him and a readjustment for me for sure, but it’s going to be a good thing. Sooo good. So many new obstacles and challenges for us to face and solve together.

We just secured our new spot and our neighborhood is poppin’ – we are in the heart of the city! I have been living in a small town for three years now. Though I have learned to appreciate the silence, nature and safety, I am sooo ready to be closer to my friends and family (and I also don’t mind seeing tall buildings again).

So, 2021 is going to be big. I can just feel it. Sure, yo girl don’t know what the hell is going on career wise (again, I’ll get to that), BUT I am healthy, I am happy, I am consistent AND

I’M COMING HOME!

Since this was a lighter post, let me just remind you that you are alive, beautiful, successful, strong and productive (and psshh, obviously so much more – you stay slaying!)

Can’t wait to keep you updated on my new, but familiar journey and to keep moving forth with sharing all things love, self-love, self-care and random tidbits here and there.

Thanks for reading, xo.
