Blogging and my why
I love to write and I’m more confident with my voice behind a screen. You heard it here first ladies (and gentlemen): I blog to share what I want to talk about (except I write it) without a filter or physical audience.
Writing is so much easier than talking. I mean c’mon, bloggers basically say more when we write. Us bloggers are able to curate our thoughts until they’re perfect (for the most part, sometimes I just click Publish to get it out into the world).

What blogging means to me
Blogging means the world to me because it pushes me to write without so much pressure. There is some pressure though: to post regularly, to grow your audience, and to collaborate with other bloggers. Though, this pressure is minimal compared to the pressure I felt writing for my classes in college and having to talk to my classmates.
I actually like the pressure of blogging. I love the chase—it’s thrilling.
Writing for my blog lets me feel unrestricted and like I have my own little stage in this massive world. As a person with stage fright, I have practiced the art of letting go and being myself on this blog, on my stage. It’s nice to have an audience that cares about my interests.
Collaborating with other bloggers
After over a year of blogging, I’ve decided to kick it up a notch and find my own blogging inspiration by becoming more collaborative in the blogging community. I am excited to announce that my next Sunday post (February 20th) will feature a blogger—Ashley Spills’s very first blog feature *key the dance music*!
I’m stoked. You’re just going to have to tune in to find out who it is. What are they going to share? What are they going to write about? To be honest, I don’t know. I am leaving that up to the blogger.

Blogging: Why bloggers should stick together
Because we are the only ones who actually understand each other. No one I know (personally) blogs! So, staying in close contact with the blogging community is something I am striving for in 2022. WHAT IS UP BLOGGERS OF THE WORLD? I’m so sorry it took me so long to get here!
Will all the real bloggers PLEASE STAND UP?

Whatever your hobby is, find your community. Share you passion. Grow your friendships. Meet people around the world!
