Photo dump taken by Ashley Lopez

I am going to share a quick photo dump from my weekend. Each picture will have a caption for reference. If a picture is a worth 1,000 words, then I might as well share 6,000 words with you without boring you.

Hi everyone, welcome back to Ashley Spills. Ashley, here. You can check out my other posts here. (I typically write about self-care, self-love, and self-awareness. This is just a fun post.)

My friend from college (San Jose State University) came to visit me this weekend and I took some pictures that I wanted to share on my blog! It’s not many—just a few.

Okay, made some delicious chile rellenos this weekend with the help of my friend! (This is pre-flour, egg, and fry.) We prepped and cooked for 3.5 hours for 7 people total. My kitchen was a complete mess afterward.
Went to Chicano Park and got some cool snaps! You can read more about this park in the link provided.

So, how was your weekend? Did you discover something new about yourself? I was reminded that I want to skate more and learn how to skate backward.

Skating makes me feel happy and free. I’m not sure why I don’t skate much, but I think I’ll incorporate it in my schedule more.

What is a fun physical activity that you like to do? When is the last time you did it?

Me stopping for a pic at Balboa Park! (PS—if you didn’t know, I fell while skating and chipped my front tooth last year…lol. I guess you can say I’m over it, but still terrified?

Let me know in the comment section if you enjoyed seeing these photos. I’d love to share more, I take photos pretty often.

Thanks for reading, xo.
