Written mostly by Rachel Ramdhan
Hi everyone, welcome to my very first blog feature: Musings of The Mind!
Meet Rachel 🙂
Blog feature
First, I want to say thank you to Ashley Spills for having me on her blog. It truly is an honour to be able to write a guest post for her blog.
When Ashley asked me if I’d be willing to guest post on her blog I immediately said yes. I wasn’t too sure about what I’d write – whether I’d pick a topic or just do a general overview of who I am and what my blog is about. Little did I know that I’d be facing exhaustion from work and I’d be drafting this post while my country faces a nationwide black out (five and a half hours and counting) while the light slowly dwindles away.
Who is this random person blabbing on Ashley’s blog about no electricity?
Blog feature: Who is Musings of The Mind?
My name is Rachel Ramdhan (soon I will be legally changing my name as I got married to the love of my life last October) and the name of my blog is Musings of the Mind. Yes, that clears up the title.
Why Musings of the Mind? When I initially thought of the name, I intended for my blog to be a space where I can write about any and every thing, a place where all my mental musings can be penned and shared with whomever is willing to read them. I will be celebrating my second year blogging anniversary next month and I can safely say my blog has evolved over these past two years.
I write about a lot of topics including military relationships, mental health, body positivity, and I launched a new category entitled marriage at the start of the year. There are three special features for Musings of the Mind: Midweek Inspiration, Think Piece, and Blog Feature (p.s. don’t forget to check out my Blog Feature for this month – it is Ashley!). These special features are way for me to give back to the blogging community, to raise awareness on topics that I am passionate about, and to provide a platform for others.
Looking at the future
While I am not sure where Musings of the Mind will go as the years go by, I am certainly grateful for opportunities like these where I can reach a different reading audience.
As a little surprise to Ashley’s readers, you can read my exclusive wedding announcement blog post here which was shared exclusively to my blog readers only.
Thank you for reading and you can feel free to reach out and connect with me on my blog, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
To Ashley, thank you once again for this opportunity! And guys don’t forget to check out Ashley’s post on my blog.
Thanks for reading, xo.
Just headed over to Rachel’s blog and started following. 😁
wow, big props to Rachel for coming on here as a feature despite the technical difficulties she is facing with her electricity.
