end of the week

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I’m thankful for opportunities, health, and passion. What are you thankful for?

Hi everyone, welcome back to Ashley Spills. Ashley, here. I hope you are all having a beautiful week so far. This is a catch-up post among other things. But, you can also check out my other posts here.

It’s Thursday, the end of the week

Thursdays have always been my favorite day of the week. It’s close to Friday and a good day to prepare for the weekend ahead. OH YEAH. Let’s get in that big ALMOST FRIDAY mood! How do you reflect on your week?

I start by going over my schedule and analyzing how I spent my time. Then I jot down what I could have done better. Without discipline, there is no journey or accomplishments.

I am especially excited for the end of my week because I am going camping tomorrow and I’m stoked! I’ve never been camping (I know, LAME), so I have no idea what to expect. Being surrounded by nature and connecting with myself has always been things that drive and inspire me. I am going with my boyfriend for our anniversary weekend and I’m really looking forward to connecting on a deeper level with him. It’s our six-year anniversary. Time flies.

Time to reflect

As I look back on this week and these past six years I realize a lot has changed and I’m so happy. Some things that I never thought would happen, happened. Feelings I never thought I’d feel, I felt. Being in a long-term relationship with someone and not losing yourself in it is something I strive for. I thankful to have a partner that not only finds my independence sexy, but pushes me to do what makes me happy.

Cheers to Thursday, Friday, the weekend, Valentine’s day, love, SELF-love, health, and more!

Thanks for reading, xo.

Gracias Ashlita x tus blogs..
    Bendiciones

Happy belated anniversary! 6 years is a good chunk of time and I love that you stated that you strive to be in a relationship that celebrates your independence as well. I can totally relate and I’m super grateful that my husband lets me be wild and free lol. Hope you had fun camping! P.S. I’ve never been either so you’re not as lame as you think 😂
