June
Hi 🙂 this is me. Taken June 5th, 2021.

Well, we’ve reached the end of June and beginning of July—hi there, July. You’re not looking too intimidating. At the end of June (aka half a year), Passion Planner has you create a road map, like a half-point check-in with yourself; you create a road map at the beginning of the year and one mid-year. There are two simple rules, set a timer for five minutes and write down everything that comes to mind, no matter how unreachable the goal may seem.

Hi everyone, welcome back to Ashley Spills. Ashley, here. You can check out my other posts here.

Below you will find my January 2021 road map:

June

Now, here’s my June 2021 road map:

I feel extremely vulnerable right now by sharing my road maps with you, but I figured it’s best to show my readers what goes in my head and hopefully give some explanation as to who I am. As you can tell, there are notable differences between the two. I’ve watched my goals, ambitions, and dreams shift in just six-months. From not wanting kids anytime soon or thinking about marriage at all, to wanting it sooner now. From being completely lost career wise, to now knowing exactly which direction I want to take.

What stayed the same in June 2021

The things that stayed the same between the two is my dream of travelling to Africa and buying a house (real estate). I can’t imagine how much my mindset will shift by the end of the year, or even by next month, and the many more goals/dreams I will conjure up in this rapid mind of mine. Don’t you just love dreaming? Thinking about the what if?

As always, getting lost in Lalaland will always by my favorite activity because it leads me to where I am happy to be. I infinitely find my way to another adventure, story, and even a mistake that is regularly accompanied by a solution.

June, you have been an OKAY month for me. I didn’t work out as much as I would have liked to, I ate out a bit too much, and I felt overwhelmed throughout the month. In my planner I rated June a 7/10. Not my best. But, it’s okay. I did my best.

Nonetheless, June, you brought me health, love, life, a career decision, and a push (more a shove) to do better for myself. Thank you, June 2021.

How was your June? Did you write a monthly reflection?

Thanks for reading, xo.
